Coriander is a great source of dietary fiber, iron, manganese, and magnesium. Its leaves have traces of Vitamin C, K and protein. They contain small amounts of calcium, phosphorous, niacin, potassium, thiamine, and carotene. Coriander can be grown from leaves and it requires frost free climate. Even extreme heat will prevent the plant from growing. The best is to grow Cilantro from its seeds and plant during summer when climate is mild and during tropical climates cool dry season is recommended.
